Thank you for volunteering at the Synchrony Financial Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon & 1/2 Marathon!  We are excited to have you join the Race Crew team at this year’s event.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have signed up for multiple shifts, you will receive an email reminder for each shift.

Marathon & 1/2 Split

Sunday, June 4

5:30am – 10:00amm

University Ave & 31st (North Park neighborhood)

Bottled water and snacks will also be provided to all volunteers. You are welcome to bring your own breakfast and/or snacks as well.

You will receive a Race Crew T-Shirt when you check in. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Temperatures can vary, and you may wish to bring a light jacket or a long-sleeve shirt to wear under your Race Crew T-Shirt.

Volunteers will have similar perks as the runners during race weekend, all you have to do is show your volunteer T-Shirt! Check out the perks here!

Parking Information

It is crucial that you arrive on time to avoid heavy traffic and road closures. Do not park on course. Please find street parking along side streets, please pay attention to street signs as cars may be towed if parked incorrectly, see reverse for map. Please place parking pass on front dash. Once parked, please proceed to the intersection of University Ave & 31st St (see star on map) to check in with Rock ‘n’ Roll team member, Rachel Baer (858) 226-0855.
