Conquer the Hills One Step at a Time!

Nashville is know for many things – live music happening at all times, great Southern food, and well, a few hills here and there.  It’s true this course is a little more challenging than others, but don’t let that scare you away from this bucket list race!

We’ve got some tips to help you conquer the hills:

  1. Keep your torso tall. Your technique is as important as your strategy.
  2. Shorten your stride. Drive your elbows back and focus on pushing off from your toes.
  3. Focus your gaze on the summit. The end is near!
  4. Forget pace. Always run hills by effort, not speed.

Add these drills into your routine, and you’ll be dominating those hills in no time!
